This is the last of my Space.NK hair care haul that I did the other month. To see everything that I bought head over to my blog post about it here. As I was lucky enough to have a voucher to spend I indulged in some hair care items that have been on my wish list for a while but have a less then desirable price tag. This is one of them. The Oribe Dry Texturising Spray retails at £18.00 for the above 75ml bottle or £38.00 for a 300ml bottle. This was recommended to me by a previous colleague who used this as a dry shampoo and loved it. I was a bit cautious about getting this as I am a bit slap happy when using dry shampoo and know that I can go through a can pretty quickly!
The Oribe Dry Texturising Spray claims to give you full on glamorous hair in an instant. The spray is meant to add some big va-va-voom volume to your hair whilst adding some texture and hold. This product also contains patented polymers that are meant to absorb any oil at the roots. All sounds rather scientific but does it do the job? I was hesitant to use this all over my hair as a dry shampoo as a) I didn’t want a lion’s main after using it and b) I didn’t want to use the entire can at once! Upon reflection I think this was a wise decision as this is perfect as a volume spray (think Batiste XXL mixed with Osis Texture Dust It Mattifying Powder review here) however I wouldn’t use it as an all over dry shampoo. The price tag is hefty but honestly this product is amazing. I save it for nights out/special events as it is expensive but I know it does the job amazingly well without killing my hair in the process.
Not only that – it is clear!! A dry shampoo that claims to be invisible and is!
