This is one of the first polishes I bought from the new Essie diffusion line that you can get from larger Boots and Superdrug stores. My love for Essie polishes is big enough without having them on the high street and available for only £7.99! There is something about the cute bottles, luscious and (usually) simple application that makes them my favourite nail polish brand by far. That is also shown by the increasing number of Essie polishes I have now stored away!
I didn’t need yet another Essie polish (or nail varnish for that fact!) but the diffusion line pulled me in and this colour gave a little wink over in my direction. Tart Deco is an orangy salmon pink colour and although in words that doesn’t sound like the most desirable colour on the nails it really is. It’s unlike any other colour I own and is perfect for the summer/winter we are currently experiencing. It’s muted pastel coral colour makes it perfect to wear ever day but still gives you that subtle pop of colour. I’ve read some reviews that complain this is really streaky but with the new thicker and tear shaped brush it applies like a dream! This is quickly become my go to favourite polish in this mid-season lack of summer!
I also wanted to quickly give a MASSIVE big squeezey hug to everyone that nominated me for the Cosmo Blog Award in the category ‘Established Beauty Blog’. This is the first time I have ever been nominated for any type of award with my blog and it really does mean to the moon and back to me. I love my blog to pieces and it utterly astounds me that there are people reading my blog enjoying it too =) I still very much feel like my blog is small and unknown so to be in the same category as some bloggers that I have been following for years is amazing! Voting is now open for the nominated blogs and there are some uber bloggers in each categories. I know I’m going to vote lots for my favs and if you do like my blog I would love any votes for me in my category <3 You can vote here: vote
