Since having the Boudoir Lash eyelash extensions (which you can read all about here!) my lashes had been looking big, beautiful and had some major impact going on! Sadly now they have all fallen out and my eyelashes are looking a bit sorry for themselves. No matter what mascara I reach for they still fall short. I debating going on the hunt for a new mascara hoping there would be one that would slightly match up to the effect the eyelash extensions gave me but I doubted that anything would do the trick.

This was until I tried the L’Oreal Mega Volume Collagen Mascara* I didn’t think much of the mascara at first and popped it on it a rush before running out the door for dinner with my friend. I completely forgot about it until my friend asked me whether I had had my eyelash extensions redone. My friend is a mascara junkie so for her to notice my lashes I knew something good must have been going on! Needless to say upon further inspection my lashes looked bigger, longer, thicker and the impact was back! Yes they do not look exactly the same as when I had my eyelash extensions in but boy did they look good!

As you can see the mascara makes my lashes, longer, blacker and adds a bit  more volume to them. Although the packaging says Power Volume Collagen because this is because it is from the states. The UK version is called Mega Volume Collagen Mascara and can be found in Boots and Superdrug for around £10.99.
