The infamous Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray! I picked this up as part of a recent Space.NK haircare haul (which can be found here) after all the reviews and raves it has had in the beauty community. It is a bit of a pricy purchase, standing at an impressive £19.50, but boy is it worth it!

If you haven’t heard of the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray before it is a industry favourite, coveted by stylists and a big beauty award winner. In a nutshell this bottle contains a salt spray that helps to create tousled beachy sexy hair. I use this product when my hair is damp as I feel that it gives the best effect then. I have tried it in dry hair but it can have a tendency to dry out my hair further and just weigh it down. What I find amazing about this product is that it transforms my poker straight lifeless hair into hair that actually has body and movement. It adds a very soft wave to my hair and gives it texture so that it finally holds a style after being washed. I don’t use this directly at the roots as I either use the Philip Kingsley Maximiser (review here) or the L’Oreal Professional Volume Lift (review here). As it is a salt spray when used at the roots it can dry your hair out a bit but as I have slightly greasy hair naturally I don’t find this to be a problem. If you don’t it might be best to keep this product for the lengths of your hair =)

This teamed with one of the above root volume lifters and the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Serum (review here) my hair has been transformed into big, voluminious, luscious hair! It’s a hair miracle!
