Skincare Rebuys

skincare
when it comes to skincare there are a fair few staples that i have and will repurchase as soon as they are finished. this has been the case with my evening cleanser (liz earle hot cloth clense and polish) for a while but after a recent skin consultation where i was told you should buy a new cleanser every 6 months as they stop working i will soon be on the hunt for a new one.two items that i am on my 3rd/4th bottle of is the la roche-posay effaclar m sebo-regulating mattifying moisturiser and the clarins water purify one step cleanser for combination oily skin. both of these items are used as part of my morning skincare routine. as i dont have a lot of time in the morning and dont want to faff around with water i love this water based cleanser by clarins. i pour some onto a cotton wool pad and wipe it over my face to remove any dirt and cleanse my skin. this is a really refreshing product that is quick to use in the morning and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean.

the second item is the effaclar m moisturiser. this is my morning moisturiser as i use my sanctuary oil in the evening. i do have rather a strange habit of when ever i apply it i say out-loud ‘regulate my sebo’. i feel this is a very important step in making the moisturiser work :P this moisturiser helps to prevent me getting too oily throughout the day and i’ve noticed since using it my face is a lot less shiny.

the clarins cleanser costs £19 and the moisturiser costs £13.50. what are your skincare staples?
