i don’t know what i did before discovering liz earle. actually no i do know. i used the same cleanser for about 4 years, thought the drying sensation it left after use was normal and never used a toner. oh how my life has changed!

the above two products have become my staples in my skin care routine. first up is the instant boost skin tonic. if you ever think you don’t need to use a toner then try one with a cotton wool pad after you have cleansed. even though you have washed your face you can still see the impact of the toner on the cotton wool pad after you have used it. this is great in the morning as well to refresh your skin and get it ready for the day ahead. at £12.25 for a 200ml bottle after buying my first one early last summer i am only about half way through my second bottle.

paired with the toner is the skin repair moisturiser. this is the light formula for combination/oily skin. i only use this moisturiser at night as in the morning i use my la roche-posay effaclar m sebo-regulating mattifying moisturiser to help prevent shine during the day. this moisturiser is great as its feels lovely and soft on the skin and very hydrating without being too greasy. at £18.25 for a 50ml bottle the price is a bit higher, as they usually are for moisturisers, but as i am still on my first bottle i can’t complain!

all the product mentioned here can be bought directly from the liz earle website. have you been converted to the liz earle family yet?

also it has to be said happy valentines day! big love to one and all =)
